For those who like me don’t know what combination car seats are.
They are designed to be used from birth as rear facing then they face forward for your toddler.
These seats may seem expensive to start with but in the long run they can work out cheaper as you don’t need to replace your childs seat like I am going to have to as I didn’t do my homework before hand. They also can have higher weight limits to keep your baby rear facing for longer which is safer for your child. Experts recommend to keep you baby at least up to 1 year rear facing but for much longer if you can.
This list is for new or expecting parents or those that are looking to change seats as their infant carrier no longer is suitable, this list is based on highest weight range only. I haven’t researched which is the better convertible car seat or the differences just the weight limits and the rankings are in no particular order and it seems most of the seats are Britax Models…
5.Evenflo Momentum 65
•5 Point Harness
•Rear Facing 5-40 pounds and top of head at least 1 inch below the top of the child restraint headrest
•Forward Facing 20-65 pounds and less than 50 inch
Stay tuned will eventually review these seats but in the meantime you can go to the website for more details or visit customer experience to see what other parents have thought of these seats.
As always comments welcome.
